I came to Monterey from So-Cal, I am a Sophomore and I love it. I like meeting new people and I am always willing to give a helping hand. Taco bell is my favorite place to eat and the food network is my favorite channel to watch. So I guess you can say that i just like food. I am really excited about the "07-08" school year. I hope to have a great year and improve campus for the better. I believe that we can all acheive things if we work together. Anything can be done, so lets do it! Booop!

Kevan Mah   kevan_mah@csumb.edu
Technology Senator Summer Reflection September Reflection Octomber Reflection November Reflection
I am your Technology Senator for 2007-2008. I have 9 years of experience in IT from web design, graphics design, coding, to my current job as a database programmer. I'm a very outspoken geek and I'm trying to bring geeky back (Kind of like Justin Timberlake, except Geeky was never in). I've rolled my D20's (Navek the Elf Wizard), read my George Martin, Robert Jordan, and Terry Goodkind; as well as the classics (Tolkien, Eddings, Brin, Card). I did my time in WoW (Main tank for the biggest guild on my server, back when Naxx first came out) and have a pretty extensive gaming history from Oregan Trail, D2, All the Final Fantasy's, DAOC, CS, and the list goes on. The reason I post this list of embarassing stuff on here is because I want to make it cool to be a nerd, especially in a place near Silicon Valley. All you other geeks out there, be proud of what you are, let people know how Boba Fett got out of the Sarlacc pit. I'm happy to talk to you anytime and please let me know what can be done on campus technology-wise to make this a better place for you to learn. I'm counting on all my fellow geeks out there to speak up, and possibly join my committee. Cheers everyone! Look forward to a great new year of change at CSUMB. Your AS group is going to pwn some noobs.
Dani Dahl   dani_dahl@csumb.edu
Lower Division Academic SenatorSummer Reflection September Reflection October Reflection November Reflection
Dani is a Sophomore at CSUMB.  She is originally from San Diego, although she moved around enough as a child to be able to call many places home including Florida, Texas, Japan, and Virginia.  Dani chose to come to CSUMB because of the schools small size and student based learning.  This is her first year participation in Associated Students for the college; however she did work on her High School class councils and Associated Students.

Dani is undeclared in her major and is indecisive about whether she wants to spend the rest of her life in school as a Medical student, or spend her life in school as a teacher.  Both seem like exciting focuses and something she would enjoy. Dani looks forward to the 2007/2008 Academic school year, and she fully believes that the Dream Team can make this the best year CSUMB has seen.
Ashley Eagan   ashley_eagan@csumb.edu
Senator at LargeSummer Reflection September Reflection October Reflection November Reflection
I'm from IL, but I have moved 12+ times. I transferred to CSUMB as a Sophomore in Fall '06. Previously, I attended Arizona State University, where I was involved in Greek Life on campus. I feel that involvement and interaction is a key factor that can make or break a students entire college experience. I am very dedicated to ensure that the students are able to take something with them when they leave this school. That they are able to say that they enjoyed their experience here, and they learned a lot from it.
Denise Huey   denise_huey@csumb.edu

In addition to Associated Students, she has dedicated her life to the Academic Skills Achievement Program (ASAP) as a Math Tutor, the Mathematics and Statistics Program as an Instructional Student Assistant, and various clubs and organizations to promote diversity, equal rights, sustainable living, and everything else in the CSUMB Vision Statement.

Delante Johnson   delante_johnson@csumb.edu
Finance SenatorSummer Reflection September Reflection October Reflection November Reflection
"They Like the way I dance, they like the way I WORK! They like the way that boys, it goes across my SHIRT!" Yo what's tha sitch, I'm your FINANCIAL DIRECTOR, and we are seriously going to have some fun this year! You better believe that. But before we do, lemme break down my life story...LOL j/k:
The name is De'Lante, my alter-ego is Lei'Dehnti, and I am truly one of a kind. I am a very smart, nice person, and very down-to-earth. I rep the Yay (Bay) Area in full--5-1-0--, and I'm a sophomore at CSUMB. I loathe people who are quick to misjudge others, just because they come off a certain way.  I have dealt with one too many obstacles, even vandalism. But throughout whatever drama I've come across, I know I'm gonna succeed. I'm to college, at CSUMB, which is quite the extraordinary place once you get used to it. Being here made me realize that I really want to live somewhere right by the coast! Umm let's see....My birthday is Aug. 27 (the first day of school, I know),I've worked at the Monterey Bay Aquarium before, and I LOVE meeting new people!  I love to dance. I like music that I can relate to; I pay attention to lyrics alot.
My personal theme song(s): "4 In The Morning"-Gwen Stefani,"Make Some Noise"-Hannah Montana (don't hate lol). I am so spirited, and upbeat--but I don't know how to have a good time; I know how to have a GREAT time. I love Coldstone icecream. Green and Blue are my favorite colors, and 7 is my favorite number (not because it's 'lucky'). You'll probably see me a lot,  cuz I "Get Around" =D LOL. I'd most likely be wearing a robe, or other outlandish styles from time to time.
Feel free to talk to me or ask me questions =)
"De'Lante is BANANAS! D-E-L-A-N-T-E! Da-da-dum...da-dum-dum...."
