President Roberts shaking hands with Secretary Leon Panetta

My name is Brett Roberts and Associated Students President for 2013-2014 academic year. I am senior, majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering. For this upcoming year I want to see exponential growth within the Associated Students at California State University, Monterey Bay. Facilitating the needs of the students as well as nurturing the development of student leaders will help with this immensely. I want the Associated Students of 2013-2014 to be seen as professional student leaders ready to advocate and fulfill the needs of any student on this campus. My personal promise is to lend an ear and a hand to any student who needs it. We are here to support our phenomenal student body and be a strong, present group on campus. With the restructure of our governing documents we have a steady foundation to start from and build on. Promoting the growth of our organization will be extremely beneficial to our student body so that we may better their day-to-day lives here in Monterey Bay. My confidence in my administration is unimaginable, I know they will superbly help the students in their individual respect and add to the organization/campus as a whole. With that, I look forward to being an integral part of every student’s life here at CSUMB, and hope they are ready for a fantastic academic year. Go Otters!
